Manufacturing Process


We build new homes in both single chassis and doubles in various sizes. All of our construction processes comply at least with BS 3632:2015 We pride ourselves on the quality and durability of our work. Our metal chassis are reinforced to withstand the pressures of manufacture,transport and siting. The floors are made from ¾ " plywood screwed to a treated 4"x2" framework. Exterior walls are made from weather proof fibre board. Walls are 4"x2" cls studding clad in 9mm plywood except in bathrooms , kitchens and utilities, where 18mm (3/4") is used to accept tiling and fixings etc. Roofs are constructed from the same cls timber and are additionally strapped down to exterior walls (as is essential in housebuilding)


Electrics comply to IEE current 17th edition regulations using two ring mains and separate lighting circuit controlled via earth and short circuit breakers

All electrics adhere to IEE wiring regulations 17th edition and are independently tested and certificated controlled via earth and short circuit breakers

Smoke and heat alarms fitted as standard

Firerated downlights used as standard

63A main intake plug pre-installed

All appliances are A rated for energy efficiency.

Doors & Windows

All doors and windows are PVCU and double-glazed as standard using energy efficient 'K' glass throughout.

All with locking handles & night vents.

Internally glazed windows for that additional security come as standard.

All homes are built to comply with BS36322015 specifications and are available with a fully comprehensive 10 year structural warranty through the National Park Homes Gold Shield Scheme subject to the park being registered under the scheme.

Chassis - Sub Frame

Rugged heavy duty all hot drawn steel construction, electrically welded, braced fitted with ample stabilising points and treated with a rust preventative coating. The chassis has a detachable-interchangable tow bar making the siting of homes easier. Axle stands are also provided for correct siting and load bearing of homes.


External walls 88 x 38mm studwork, half lap jointed with studs at 400 mm centres. Fully insulated and build with weather proof fibre board. The exterior is finished with a resin-based textured material (stucco)


18mm high density flooring guide moisture-resistant ply wood, laid on 146 x 50mm joists set at 400mm centres that are securely bolted to the chassis. With platinum floorshield insulation and moisture-proof barrier constructed to eliminate squeaks and bounce.


Prefabricated triangular truss construction, spaced at 600mm centres. Tiled with a lightweight metal tile over treated battens and breathable membrane. The roof void is insulated with 200mm fibreglass matt insulation cross laid in roof space and vented via soffits. All rainwater downpipes and gutters are in PVCU along with bargeboards, fascias and soffits. The ceiling is 12.5mm plasterboard decorated with paper in a standard pattern.
